Paper on Snek5000 accepted to JOSS
Our paper describing Snek5000 has been accepted to the Journal of Open-Source Software.
I am a CNRS researcher at LEGI (Laboratoire des Ecoulements
Geophysiques et Industriels, UMR 5519).
My main research interests concern fluid dynamics and
turbulence, mainly applied to geophysical flows. In my work, a
combination of lab experiments, numerical calculations,
theoratical derivations and data analysis are used in order to
investigate instabilities and turbulence in stratified and
rotating fluids.
Our paper describing Snek5000 has been accepted to the Journal of Open-Source Software.
We will present our numerical work on vertical convection.
I will present our new Python package Fluidsimfoam at the OpenFOAM users conference.
We submitted two papers presenting work done during Arman Khoubani’s PhD thesis.
I will give a presentation at Mercurial conference 2023 about “Using Mercurial, evolve and hg-git in an academic context”.
I gave a presentation focussed about HPy and the technical underpinnings of the numerical Python ecosystem.
I gave a group seminar in my lab on our new software project Snek5000.
